It all started when…

The growing sport of disc golf caught hold in Central Arkansas in the late 1970s. Burns Park was originally designed by “Steady” Ed Headrick, as a 9 hole course and loosely played through the trees by the tennis courts. There were tournaments in the 1980s and 90s, and in 2008, a strong enough contingent wanted something more central to the Little Rock area. So, James Lecy and Doug Trantham started DSDGA. Randall Palmer took it over in 2015, when it was fading and along with the newly formed Board of Directors, helped to restore it to what it is today… with continued and new, energized leadership…

DSDGA, Inc. It is a 501(c)3 non-profit and continues to be the forerunner for Central Arkansas PDGA sanctioned disc golf events and clinics. Come see what all the hype is and learn more about the growing Disc Golf scene in Central Arkansas.
